Some of you might remember that last year, I wrote a short comic for an amazing Cthulhu themed anthology? Well… the sequel is coming out, and I got accepted! Yes, Cthulhu is Hard to Spell: The Terrible Twos is is complete, with 73 stories of Lovecraftian horror and humor, and live on Kickstarter!
Lloyd Ladera Artworks and I submitted a cute, funny story called RESPECT YOUR ELDERS, done in Lloyd’s vibrant watercolors. And you know who else is in this anthology? Paul Jenkins (Spider-man), Ray-Anthony Height (Wakanda Forever), Tony Donley (Myths and Legends), Christian Gossett (The Red Star), plus dozens of artists who have worked for My Little Pony, Invader Zim, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Image, Vertigo, DC… Lloyd and I are so thrilled to be included with such incredible artists! And there are so many more we discovered through this collaboration that I’m so excited for you to meet.
Amazingly, the entire book is also appropriate for all ages: no swearing or gore anywhere. Just pure psychological terror side by side with LMAO stories. I can’t tell you how excited I am to be able to say I’m a part of it!
The project went live on Kickstarter about an hour ago and ALREADY it’s a PROJECT WE LOVE! How exciting is that? It just goes to show that it’s not just the little bubble of creators who likes this stunning little book. So many people have come out to show their support on social media and I can’t even begin to tell you the feelings bubbling in my gut.
