Hello, hello, and happy new year, dear readers! It’s been a while since my last update, and I apologize for that. A lot of exciting things are coming, and it’s taken a lot of headspace to prepare. I’ll be bringing you lots of surprises in the coming weeks.
Anyway, what are we here for today? The blurb reveal of Inalienable, of course! It’s been months that I’ve been keeping the plotline from you, you wonderfully patient people. So here we go. Are you ready? Spoilers if you haven’t read the end of Earthstuck, I should warn you!
Framed for a murder you actually did commit? Rude.
Sally’s saved the Earth from another alien predator only to be rewarded with a jail cell. With her family threatened by the Agency if she doesn’t rat out Zander and Blayde, her only option to escape the Alliance is to plead ‘aliens’ in a court of law. At least at the Hill Institute for the Criminally Insane, she’ll have time to clear her mind and focus – on revenge.
Finding a way to break out of an institution and cross half the galaxy would be much easier if it weren’t for the midnight screams of terror and eerie doppelgangers lurking at the Hill. With the Agency too focused on capturing the siblings to actually protect the planet, it’s up to Sally to save the day.
Between murder-clown apparitions, alien advocacy groups, and a new translator with compulsive corporate branding, Sally’s got her work cut out for her. Too bad the best plan she can come up with amounts to faux-regicide with the help of an exasperated starship captain. Will she ever find the time to just Netflix and chill?
Are you excited? I know I am! Then again, I always am. Inalienable is going to bring back some characters you haven’t seen in a long, long time, and it was a blast putting them on paper once again. We also get an insight into the Alliance’s finer workings. Sally and Zander’s relationship is also going to reach a point that will delight the avid #Zally shippers: it’s about time, isn’t it?
Spooky psychiatric hospital. Suspiciously addictive oatmeal. Sexy starship captains. Shoes. I won’t say this book has everything, but it comes pretty close to cataloging the infinite universe.
